I have been on a phenomenal learning journey since 2006 thanks to Javid and Anne and trading is one huge aspect of it. Having graduated with a Law degree and carved out a successful career in investment banking IT, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would one day also become a private trader.

My trading journey started in 2006 attending various well publicised seminars and courses but my real education commenced when I did the Dynamic Trader Forex Apprenticeship in early 2008. The Apprenticeship provided me with the appropriate tools and strategies but more crucially, the importance of risk management, discipline, not jumping the gun and trading the plan. It’s been a tremendously rich experience (including frustrations!); there are so many aspects to this art that unless one combines it with discipline and commitment, breakthroughs and progress is limited. Trading is a tremendous passion of mine and has helped me learn many things about myself.

I have been blogging about currencies and commodities since October 2008 and have found this to be a rewarding experience which has also aided my growth in trading. To be successful at anything continued growth is required. I have found Mark Douglas’ book Trading in the Zone and Jack Schwager’s Market Wizards particularly useful in trading.
